Retention categories

Drafts, submitted nominations, ballots, jury scores, review notes, video links, audit events, press credentials, support cases, access logs, incident records, and permanent public records may have different retention schedules based on operational, legal, archival, and integrity needs.

Deletion and minimization

Balloture should minimize unnecessary personal data and delete or anonymize data when retention is no longer needed, except where audit, legal, security, public-record, or result-integrity obligations require preservation.

Restore testing

Backup and restoration must be tested before launch for outcome-critical data and audit records.
